What's the Project About?

The project deals with the development of a system that will enable people with physical disabilities to use the computer more efficiently through eye tracking.


Why the need?

Computers are already part of our society. It has helped the society work in a faster and efficient environment. With this in mind, computers must be accessible to all people of the society therefore even people with physical disabilities should have the opportunity to make use of the computer’s beneficial inputs.


EYE TRACKING...

Eye tracking has been around for years now.  It has many applications  such as:

  -emotion detection

  -monitoring systems

  -drivers' fatigue detection

  -advertisement controls

 

-interface usability    

 

From interface usability, the potential use of eye tracking as a means to control the computer interface arouse. Many eye tracking systems have been developed to make computers accessible to users with physical disabilities.
