UP ACM Student Chapter Wins Two General Excellence Awards

The newly-revitalized Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) University of the Philippines Student Chapter of the Department (http://www.upacm.org) has won two out of the five student chapter excellence awards (http://acm.org/chapters/stu/). The only team to have won more than one chapter citation, UP ACM bagged the awards for the "Community Service" and "Student Recruitment" categories and has the added distinction of being the only chapter outside of North America amongst the five awardees.
