RESEARCH
Research in the Department of Civil Engineering is
traditionally carried out along four (4) major fields:
- STRUCTURES & CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
- TRANSPORTATION
- WATER RESOURCES, HYDRAULICS& COASTAL ENGINEERING, and
- GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING
However, inter-disciplinary research activities are beginning to boom,
especially in the light of the developmnets in environmental
engineering.
